Walnut no. 85 is a powder made from walnut shells, alkanna, common bedstraw and Lawsonia Inermis, which are dried and crushed leaves from the henna bush.

Botanical hair colours, cares for, protects and adds volume to the hair. The hair is left silky soft and glossy. The colour is gradually washed out and the colouring takes place exclusively on the outermost layer of the hair strand (cuticle). The use of botanical hair colour to cover grey hair gives the best results, when the proportion of grey hair is less than 30%.

Walnut no. 85, Earth Brown:
On original brown or dark brown hair color, even with a small percentage of grey hair (colouring time 40-60 min), the color becomes neutral brown. When used for the first time, the result on grey hair is mainly in color tones with undertones ranging from chestnut to intense coppery brown tones. After several uses, grey hair can be completely covered with chestnut shades. On blond hair, the color tones range from medium brown to nut brown shades (colouring time 30-60 min). On brown hair, an intense effect is achieved on the original hair color (colouring time 45-90 min).

We recommend that you do a color test before coloring your entire hair. Choose the lightest lock of hair, or where there is the most gray hair.

You can mix henna with other plant parts to change the color. The color becomes more intense if the hair is kept moist and warm while the henna is in. High heat also shortens the exposure time.

You can mix ZENZ henna hair color with:

Green tea - makes bright colors less yellow or red.
Black tea - enhances the brown pigments.
Black coffee - makes the color deeper.
Boiling water - makes the color intense.
Sour milk product (yogurt) - makes red colors lighter and more intense in the orange pigment.
ZENZ Oil Treatment - makes the henna easier to apply and wash out again and prevents the mixture from drying out while it works in the hair.

Using henna to cover gray hair does not give remarkable results if the proportion of gray hair is higher than 30%.
